The Humble Pint Prep and Pizza Cook is responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing all line items to the specifications set forth by the Humble Pint Brewing recipe guidelines. This role also oversees kitchen inventory, daily prep of ingredients, receiving, rotating, and storing food orders while maintaining cleanliness, food safety and food quality within the kitchen.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete prep list following all specs and prepare each order consistently according to recipe, including but not limited to portioning, chopping, storing, peeling, weighing, measuring, rinsing, and mixing ingredients
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards
• Setup and break down work station
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, dishes, tables, tools, knives, and equipment
• Some ordering and and inventory receiving
• Keep GM/owner aware of any kitchen needs, including equipment and maintenance considerations
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
• Have clear knowledge of all products offered by Humble Pint Brewing Co
• Be a team player, capable of interacting with all levels within the organization
• Adhere to health department regulations regarding food handling, storage, temperature, and sanitation
• Other tasks as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check
• Minimum of 1 year commercial kitchen experience desired
• Texas Food Handler Certification required (Certified Food Manager a plus)
• TABC Server Certification desired
• Able to maintain complete knowledge of all cooking techniques required to prepare menu items
• Pizza-making experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Must be comfortable working in a team environment
• Able to quickly assess and prioritize needs
• Thorough attention to detail and desire to take initiative
