As a Humble Pint Server, you will be serving beer, ringing up food and drink orders, selling merch, maintaining the pub space, and positively interacting with customers. This role is the face of the company for our customers. Your job will be to represent Humble Pint and our brand in the best, most informative way possible while providing an outstanding service experience for every person who walks in our door. You must be efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, with the ability to answer a wide range of questions on brewing, our beer, our food, and the company.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet all guests promptly and courteously
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs and recommend beers based on their described tastes
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the brand including beer, coffee, food, merchandise, and backstory
  • Have an overall awareness of the property and take initiative and ownership to ensure all aspects of it are clean, presentable, and inviting
  • Move and change kegs, report inventory and line changes at end of each shift
  • Comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards
  • Dedication towards ongoing education about the industry, the company and its products
  • Be a team player, capable of interacting productively with all levels within the organization
  • Other tasks as assigned

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
  • Able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check
  • ServSafe or applicable state or county food handler certification required
  • TABC server certification
  • Previous professional service industry and/or hospitality experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of craft beer and the brewing process preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a love for meeting and interacting with people
  • Thorough attention to detail and desire to take initiative
  • Must adhere to company’s policies and procedures
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing company
  • Willingness to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards
